On August 18, the 2020 Signing, Completion and Settlement Event of Major Projects and Industrial Promotion in Nanhai District, Foshan was held, including the signing, completion and settlement ceremony of 32 “two high (high-tech manufacturing industry and high-quality services industry) & four new (new energy industry, new material industry, new generation of electronic information industry, and new biomedical industry)” industrial projects, such as Nanhai-Minmetals New Material Strategic Cooperation Project, Foshan Anjie Health Industrial Park and GIRFA Healthy Acquisition Infection Prevention and Control Project, involving an investment of 31.48 billion yuan.

On August 18, Sanshui District held the 2020 “City Sanshui” High-quality Development Conference with the theme of “joint development and progress” to seize the major opportunities of “dual district driving force” and “dual core cooperation”, further boost the confidence in the development of real economy, and promote the high-quality development of “City Sanshui”.

In recent years, based on the construction of the “two high & four new” modern industrial system, Nanhai has coordinated investment resources and innovate investment modes, and successfully introduced a number of leading projects, such as FAW-Volkswagen new energy vehicles and Tenglong Data Center of the Greater Bay Area. The development orientation of the “two high & four new” industries in Nanhai has been widely recognized by the market, attracting a number of strategic leading projects of emerging industries, such as FAW-Volkswagen MEB electric vehicles with an investment of 11.8 billion yuan, Tenglong Data Center of the Greater Bay Area with an investment of 11 billion yuan, Tencent Industrial Internet Base of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with an investment of 5 billion yuan, and Japanese Toray Non-woven and Water Membrane.

Foshan High-tech Zone, the innovation and development leader in Foshan and the main engine of industrial upgrade, takes major responsibilities and takes the lead in attracting investment for major projects. In addition to focusing on the “two high & four new” industries, Foshan High-tech Zone will also attract projects according to the standard of “high-end + chain group matching”, which focuses on the high-quality “3+3+X” industrial system of “two transformations and hard technology” in the High-tech Zone, pays close attention to the new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence, bio-medicine, new energy, new materials and other environment-friendly projects with high-tech contents, great market potentials and good development prospects. Sanshui strengthens project introduction to build high-quality carriers

In the past three years, more than 560 projects have been introduced in Sanshui with a total investment of more than 150 billion yuan, such as the settlement of Brunp Recycling Technology and other excellent enterprises, and the capital increase and production expansion of Haier and Rifeng Pipe. Take Rifeng Corporate Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Rifeng Corporate”) as an example, its product sales revenue in the Production Base of Sanshui Park in Foshan High-tech Zone has maintained a double-digit growth. This year, Rifeng Corporate invested another 4.3 billion yuan in the construction of the Intelligent Pipeline Machinery Equipment and New Pipeline Manufacturing Base Project. The project, located in the Wanmu Core Industrial Park of Foshan High-tech Zone, covers an area of 300,000 square meters, and will be built into an intelligent pipeline production base. The output value is expected to reach 4 billion yuan after completion, which will further strengthen the construction of Sanshui industrial chain and promote the transformation and upgrading of plastic pipeline industry.
