FHIDZ Enterprise Service Month 2024 Launches

On September 5, the launching ceremony of “Best For You” Enterprise Service Month of Foshan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (FHIDZ) took place at the Shunde Industrial Park. It unveiled the second batch of enterprise service stations, which serve key areas in “One District and Five Parks”, the Northern Foshan Strategic New Industrial Park, and the top ten manufacturing industry parks, cooperatively developed by Nanhai Pingqian International and other ten industrial parks. This marks the implementation of a model of dynamic integration between market service and government service, bringing these services closer to more businesses.

Launch of the Enterprise Service Month

In recent years, focusing on building the “Best For You” enterprise service system, by leveraging both government and market forces, the FHIDZ has continuously implemented the “Five Ones” service measures for enterprises: establishing one platform, one batch of service stations, one resource pool, one team, and holding a series of activities. To date, 20 enterprise service stations have been established, 97 institutions have been enlisted in the resource pool, a team of 100 enterprise service specialists has been formed, a one-stop enterprise service platform has been launched, and over 30 Foshan high-tech forums have been held.

“We always place the highest priority on enterprise services,” said Hu Xuejun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of Foshan National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. He emphasized that the Enterprise Service Month will serve as an opportunity to gather high-quality service resources and jointly carry out superior service activities to support enterprise development in areas such as financing, market expansion, talent introduction and cultivation, and technological innovation. The FHIDZ is fully committed to being an attentive attendant and thoughtful partner for all businesses.

Unveiling of the second batch of enterprise service stations

The HiTrom Han’s Robot Smart Manufacturing City is one of the co-building parks for the second batch of the FHIDZ enterprise service stations. Qiu Zhan’ou, Deputy General Manager of the park, introduced that more than 160 enterprises have settled in the park, with over 120 officially in operation. “As a service station of the Zone, we will continue to provide full-lifecycle services in innovation, talent, finance and more, to support high-quality development of enterprises in the park.”

To fully implement the Central Government’s deployment on employment and related work requirements of the provincial government, the FHIDZ has organized the development of scientific research assistant positions for 2024. As of August this year, various enterprises and institutions in the zone have created 1,541 research assistant positions, exceeding the target by more than 1.5 times. Among them, 40 enterprises and institutions made outstanding contributions, which were awarded by the Management Committee of the FHIDZ.

To strengthen financial support for the real economy, the Shunde Industrial Park Management Bureau of the FHIDZ established a financial advisory system in 2023. So far, more than 60 financial matching events have been organized, with aan increased credit amounting to nearly 2 billion yuan. During the event, outstanding financial advisory organizations were honored, and the Shunde District Economic and Technological Service Center for SMEs and two other institutions were appointed as consulting service units of business operation and management.

Unveiling of the National University Science Park cobuilt by the Shunde Industrial Park and the Shunde Innovation Institute of Beijing University of Science and Technology

On the same day, the Shunde Industrial Park of the FHIDZ held the unveiling ceremony for the National University Science Park, a collaborative project with Shunde Innovation Institute of Beijing University of Science and Technology. The two parties will engage in deep cooperation in areas such as technology transfer, technology enterprise incubation, and innovation talent cultivation.

The Foshan High-tech Forum is a signature activity of enterprise services in the FHIDZ. Over the past three years, it has attracted more than 1,500 participants, covering various topics including technology transfer, intellectual property, capital matching, and policy interpretation. On the day of the event, a forum tailored to businesses’ overseas expansion needs was also held, which featured three companies sharing their experiences on successfully entering the African market and management practices of European hidden champion enterprises.
